MCP has partnered with new alternatives for children (NAC) to bring your team an opportunity to help NYC's most vulnerable youth. MCP handles all the program logistics to provide an environment that feels like volunteering but looks like a special event. NAC is a leading new york city-based health and social service organization that exclusively serves children with disabilities and chronic illnesses, who are living in poverty, and who are in foster care or at risk of foster care placement. COOKING WITH KIDS
Sponsor a cooking class for the kids at new alternatives for children.
Includes a thoroughly engaging 1 hour hands-on pizza and cookie making lesson.
Your employees assist, provide mentorship & human connection with NAC youth-
giving a group of kiddos an experience they wouldn't otherwise have access to.
After the cooking, we have a buffet-style pizza party,
where all participants (big & small), enjoy the fruits of their labor.
Next, clients say their farewells to the children (who depart with their cookie creations!)
and we conclude with an adult-only cocktail party with passed hors d'oeuvres.

Includes coffee, tea & soda, a fruit board, crudité, homemade pizzas,
& a one hour reception with beer, wine, six passed hors d'oeuvres, take home aprons, location & a full-service staff
$156 + 20% administrative fee per employee + NAC participant duo

BAKE, DONATE, & DELIVER
Your co-workers will bake, wrap, and deliver goodie bags for our neighbors at NAC.
Serving 1,800 children and their families is no small task.
With our gifts of homemade special treats, we hope to bring some
sweet sunshine to both the tireless team at NAC, as well as the many families they serve.
Your event will begin with a 30 minute reception before the cooking begins,
next guests will head into the kitchen for an hour to cook up some love,
then you will either enjoy further snacks in a reception style format
or sit down to a full-service meal before wrapping up your kitchen creations,
and bringing them to NAC (just a few doors down from MCP)!
Three hours of teambuilding with a purpose
Includes coffee, tea, wine, beer & soda service,
4 types of catered hors d'oeuvres, a cheese board and crudité, baking activity,
take home aprons, wrapping and gift bag paraphenalia, location & a full-service staff
Hors d'oeuvres only* $129 per person + a 20% administrative fee
With a catered three course meal $189 per person + a 20% administrative fee

Established in 1982, in response to the problem of medically complex children languishing in hospitals beyond medical need, today NAC provides an integrated continuum of health and social services, foster care and adoption, and family support services for 1,800 at-risk children, siblings and parents annually in NYC. NAC's mission is to provide innovative high-quality services in support of birth, foster, and adoptive families caring primarily for medically complex children. NAC's services enable children to remain in or to be returned to their families whenever possible or to be adopted by loving families. Working primarily with children whose birth families live in poverty, NAC's continuum of services ensures that children's physical, social, educational, recreational, medical, and mental healthcare needs are met. By supporting families NAC prevents lengthy stays in foster care, hospitals, or other institutions. NAC builds on family strengths, provides opportunities and assists all family members in reaching for and achieving their potential.
